Perfect Pitch
You're one in 10,000 if you have perfect pitch, that according to research presented earlier this year. The incidence is higher among speakers of tonal languages such as Chinese. No word yet on how special you are if the choir director has tried to get you interested in drama instead.

ReplyDeleteOMG, this sure helped me out to know this! I led a group of Temple workers in song, did fine with the directing but boy, did I mess up the pitch. As a result, we got off to a rough start on the music that day. I felt bad about that but now I know I just am not the 1 in 10,000! Thanks, David. I am not accountable and it is nice to know! LOL!
